January 1, 2024 Broadcast TV Surcharge

Effective January 1, 2024, the Broadcast TV Surcharge, a fee that owners of local broadcast network affiliated TV stations (affiliates of ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC) charge to GTA to provide local programming, will increase from $12.40 to$15.98 per month. We realize that you have many options for entertainment, and we appreciate that you choose GTA Digital TV. We will continue to provide quality programming while striving to keep rate increases to a minimum.

At GTA, we work hard to keep expenses low, however, due to rising local and global costs, effective December 1, 2023, Internet rates will increase by $3 per month. Customers on Choice Bundle plans or Residential Internet 25 Mbps retail rate plans will not see an increase. Chat with us for more information.

We are thrilled to announce that GTA is upgrading our Digital TV services, bringing you enhanced features and an even better viewing experience…for no additional cost to you or the need to replace your set top box!
To bring you these exciting new features, we’ve upgraded our TV programming infrastructure. The migration to this new system will start on October 25th and is expected to conclude by December 6th, 2024.
If you have any existing DVR recordings, we encourage you to watch them soon, as they will be deleted during this migration period.

Effective September 30, 2024, all Viacom channels will no longer be available as part of GTA's programming lineup. This includes BET Gospel, BET Jams (MTV Jams), BET Soul (VH1 Soul), Black Entertainment Television (BET), Black Entertainment Television HD (BET HD), CMT Music, Comedy Central, Comedy Central HD, Country Music Television (CMT), Country Music Television HD (CMT HD), MTV Classic (VH1 Classic), MTV Music Television, MTV Music Television HD, MTV2, MTV2 HD, mtvU, Nick Jr., Nick Music, Nickelodeon, Nickelodeon HD, Nickelodeon Toons, Paramount Network, Paramount Network HD, TeenNick, Tr3s, TV Land, TV Land HD, VH1 Music First and VH1 Music First HD.

Effective September 23, 2024, Disney will discontinue the following TV Everywhere applications - ABC App, DisneyNow App, Freeform App, FXNow App, and Nat Geo TV App. However, customers will still be able to access TVE content through the respective channel's website after this date.

Channel 602: HD Net Movies and Channel 603: AXS TV will no longer be carried by GTA effective September 1, 2024.

Please be advised that effective today, January 31, 2024, the following TV Everywhere Channels/Apps will be discontinued and will no longer be available- Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr, Paramount Network.

Effective December 15, 2023 Showtime TV Everywhere also known as Showtime Anytime service will be discontinued.

Please be advised that due to the programmer's decision to cease airing, Stadium College Sports (fka Fox College Sports) will be removed from our TV offering starting December 31, 2023.
Additionally, also effective December 31, 2023, after careful evaluation we have made decision to also remove MTV Live from our channel lineup. We are constantly evaluating our offerings to ensure we provide the best possible entertainment experience to our subscribers. We are confident that the current selection of channels still offers a diverse range of content to cater to different tastes and interests.

Effective December 1, 2023, the Scientific Atlanta Set Top Boxes can no longer access Video On Demand features of GTA Digital TV. To regain access to VOD, customers can schedule for a Set Top Box upgrade, free of charge, by calling our Call Center or visiting any of our retail locations.
