Understanding My GTA Bill: Usage charges
Knowing your data and internet usage can help you determine areas or services that may need to be upgraded or downgraded based on your use of them. Here’s a helpful guide for understanding charges based on your usage of a GTA service.
What are usage charges?
Usage charges refer to fees incurred based on the amount or extent of services used within your billing period. These charges apply to services such as GTA’s Home Wireless Internet, Digital TV, home phone, mobile data, or any service where consumption of the service is or measured.
How are my usage charges calculated?
Your usage charges are calculated according to your unique service plan's rates and the amount of service consumed within the billing cycle.
Your billing statement includes details such as the number of local SMS sent, minutes spent on domestic calls, and data usage (KB) for the billing period.
A summary of your usage can be found under your Summary Total By Service or in each service itemized in your billing statement.
Pro Tip: You can use this section to review your usage patterns, avoid exceeding limits, and adjust your plan to better fit your needs and budget.
