If you are transferring services to GTA from another provider
Contact a GTA representative and provide the following information:
- Identification information such as a Driver’s License, Guam ID, or Passport
- An active service from your current provider
- Your latest invoice or bill from your provider
- A statement from your provider releasing your current number over to GTA
Porting in your old number to GTA is FREE!
New customers porting in an existing number with GTA receive a $50 port-in credit that can go towards their new account.
Things to Know: Porting in/out is the process of transferring your existing phone number from one service provider to another. While some providers, like GTA, do not charge a fee for porting out your number, other providers may charge a transfer fee. It’s important to work with your current provider and new one to ensure a smooth transfer process with little delay.
If you are transferring services from GTA from another provider
Contact a GTA representative and provide the following information:
- Your account number
- The name of the account holder
- The number associated with the account
- Your 4-digit pin number or password
Your representative will make sure you're equipped with all the necessary information to close your GTA account.
Before you go, here are some things to keep in mind:
Clear Outstanding Balances: Ensure that all outstanding balances with GTA are paid. Unpaid bills can delay the transfer process.
Review Your Contract: If you are under a contract, review the terms for any early termination fees. Clearing any obligations before porting out will ensure a smooth process.
Keep Your Existing Number: Request a statement from your GTA representative releasing your current number over to your new service provider. While GTA does not charge a fee for porting your number out, it’s important to ensure that any outstanding balances are cleared to avoid delays in transferring.
